its connected to the fuel tank, somethin to do with preventin a buildup of petrol vapor in the tank

lol good job i didn't stick the one way valve in it then

i stuck a screw in it until Mark Fish told me leave it exposed

Ive had mine removed mate, Not any different, and passed mot fine. Apparently car should smell slightly more of fuel vapour, not that ive noticed.

Can do although it still leaves a good run to the drivers side washer. Should work i'd have thought, easy enough to get to to change if needed.

Just change the sodding washers you big girl :rasp:.

nope sod all to do with aircon,,,

its filters fuel vapour through charcol, then a solenoid valve on top of it allows it in to the inlet manifold to be burnt at idle etc decided by the ecu
