help - sub Box

im thinking in buying a new Alpine Type-R 12" sub......wich size should be the box?????in litres....please

I think you should get instructions with all the details on?

My JL came with a sheet with sizes for Ported Boxes, Sealed Boxed - was pretty cool.. Of course, I just got a ready made box for it! hehe..

Maybe someone knows the answer, but Id think you would get a leaflet with it..

You should indeed get something with it for the box specs.

If you are building the box beforehand then you should run it in a 1.25cuft sealed enclosure. You can go a bit smaller or a bit bigger without making much difference to the sound...I wouldnt recommend porting it as they tend to bottom out at high volume.

Just out of interest..how much are you getting it for?

im from portugal so i can get it heres for 114£....how much does it cost in UK??

normally around the £135 mark. Although you can get them cheaper...not as cheap as in Portugal though.
