Help please

hi all , right well since it started snowing ,my dad used the clio for work for a few days seeing bm had trolley wheel, and he phoned up one day in work one day saying the car cut out n wudnt start anf that the water was low, the water does seem to go fast like, but few days ago we got bm sorted and im left with clio, i go out in morning and it wont start i have to rev it to get it to idle, and when driving it splutters like hell, and the engine management light is flicking every now and then ?

its a 1.2 clio 02 reg , what do you think the problem is, maybe just coz of the weather or?

my clio dynamique did that randomly driving an the light wud come on
an had to give it persuasion to idle
how did i cure it...........
i bought a 172
in all seriousness though i didnt find what wat was up with it
so id bbe interessted to see wat ppl say

yer im already paying 1900 insurance on this and thats named haha, being 18 in
skelmersdale 172 isnt possible
