Hello All! Clio 182 Virgin Here!

  RS 182
Hi all, from Cannock in Staffordshire or West Midlands however you want to locate it. Purchased a 182 in black yesturday. OMG it made me smile! Its goes like stink, amazed really! I just traded my car in and wanted some fun. Toss up between 182 and type r! Clio won it for me. Every type r I came accross was a nail! Loads of miles stuffed up them!

Anyway theres my introduction. I am after help on a few things which I have posted replies on the subjects in the correct forums. No blowers issue and looking for some standard 182 wheels as mine are aftermarket ones.

Oh yeah, almost forgot my new 182 has an amazing sounding exhaust system! Dont know what it is as I am now on holiday in spain. Will check when i get back as ive only had 2 hours play so far with the clio!

Thanks all see you around!

Great stuff, i am just sitting by the pool in spain :) but.... As soon as i am back I cant wait to play with my new toy.
I will get pics up of exhaust. Sounds evil.
Guna get a service done on it when I am back. Is it right if the Aux belt has been change and Ive had a complete new alternator the cambelt still should be ok until the interval stage of 72k?

  RS 182
Oh mines a 2004 and theres no history of cambelt being changed so I guess its sensible to do so.
Has anyone changed these? What sort of cost is involved at a local garage?

Go to birchdown, probs closest from Stafford? Or Fred at BTM in Birmingham.
Price is £450ish I think for both aux kit and cam kit.

Dephaser is not part of the service schedule. However people seam to like replacing them.
