heater blower only working on 4

hello in my 172 cup the interior fan only works on level 4 . 1,2 and 3 i do not get nothing. could it be the switch? i searched and read about the resistor but i dont think this is the problem or maybe im wrong.

any help appreciated.

It's the resistor pack thats at fault, that effectively alters the speeds by altering the voltage fed to the heater blower motor.

The reason it works only in position 4 is that there is a direct 12v feed from supply to heater motor, ie no resistors to pass through.
