Headlight bulbs!

Hi guys. Been lookin at changing my headlight bulbs and fancy the osrams and/or philips ones from autobulbs website. However ive noticed that all my current bulbs ( except the small round shaped sidelights) have a rubber bit on the end, but the ones on the website dont! What is it for, and should i buy ones that dont have them on?? WELL CONFUSED!!:S

Cheers for that mate- yeah just had another look at powerbulbs website and it seems that the rubber bit is on xenon bulbs only. Just dont want to melt my standard headlamps thats all. Just had to shell out for the reno standard ones as k-tec angels conked out!! Bit chavvy anway!!!
