hazards wont stop flashing?

  Stage 2 Meg Trophy
Pretty sure that from what I've read in this and other posts that it's not uch related and it's down to water in the alarm.
Only time will tell.

I don't think I've ever seen so many answers to questions be completely ignored in one thread!

Ridiculous, some people should just stay away from cars and leave it to someone who has the common sense to listen to someone when they provide help.

Yes but the right answers have been provided to most of the questions, but they are being ignored by the people asking them.

Eg:

Q: My hazard lights are flashing when the engine is off
A: It's caused by water in the alarm
Q: I've disconnected the battery and they are still flashing
A: The alarm has a back up battery inside it, that's why they're still flashing
Q: I've removed the fuse and they are still flashing
A: It's caused by water in the alarm
Q: I've replaced the switch and they are still flashing
A: It's caused by water in the alarm
Q: It must be the UCH, omg this is going to be so expensive
A: It's caused by water in the alarm FFS!

My car has started doing this now , disconnecting the battery stop the hazards flashing , so your second question and answer doesn't work for me

My switch seems to be working perfectly , the switch will turn the hazards off after they have turned themselves on

Ok - I have the same issue with my Megane 55 plate.

So I need to dry out or replace the alarm. Please can someone tell me where the alarm is located?

I'll have a go at cutting the wire in question too later.

Thanks for any help.
