Hard acceleration, big bang, pops out of gear?

Was just coming home now, I pulled away in first pretty hard and was wheel spinning, then all of a sudden there was a bang and it popped out of first gear.

The box all seems OK maybe 1st abit looser.

Could any damage of been done and why would it do this?

if everything else sounds ok rock the engine for movement and check the upper mount and upper gearbox mount maybe??

Also Put the car in first with the hand brake on, hit biting point and see if there is a rattling

If the mounts are fubard could this happen?

I've seen two top mounts sever during hard running and happens if you do a lot of launching tbh. Could knock it out of gear quite easily yea

Sounds stupid but the wheels were spinning then bouncing, I assume this could of done it itself?
