Have any of you had problems with the handbrake on ur clios after the car has been washed or it has been raining?
A couple of weeks ago on a morning after I had washed my car, I was setting off and the handbrake wouldnt release from the left rear axle. This is even tho the handbrake light is off on the dash. I had to put the car into reverse and slowly try and get the car to move. It makes quite a loud noise when it is finally released as well which cant be good for the car. A mate of mine with a 172 says this also has happened to his and he doesnt seem too concerned.
This has also happened when I have set off after it has been raining the night before. Any similar cases?
