hand brake light

right peridically the hand brake and stop lights appear on my dash (no not when stopped!!) if i corner hard or go round a long bend they flicker on tapping the brakes when on a straight gets rid of it...any ideas what sensor or switch might cause this as its mighty annoying at night...

Brake fluid mate, happened to me on a corner too. Just check your levels and top it up

Check your brake pad thickness aswell.
