front seat removal

Does anyone know how I can remove the airbag connection to the front seats for seat removal. Is it as simple as uncliping the connector then removing the seat and is it a good idea to disconnect the battery. Thank you

Always best to disconnect the battery first and yes, it is that simple.

disconnect the battery for peace of mind.
by the time you have then got the car a little elevated so you can get underneath to unbolt the nuts from the studs of the chairs, it should have lost any residual voltage within the system.
then you can lean the seat back slightly to access the wiring on the underside, to unclip/unplug everything, then just lift the seat out
