Front end buzzing, possible wheel bearing.

hi all, have a very definite buzz coming from the n/s front end when at any speed above 50. At around 70 it is fairly substantial.
Is the best way to check if it's the bearing just to jack up and try and check for play in the wheel?
Any help very appreciated.

Yeah jack it up and check, rotate the wheel and see if there's any roughness or excessive noise in the bearing and go from there

I had a similar issue with the rear of mine. I changed the rear discs and over tightened them with caused a loud buzzing sound at around the same speeds which then resulted in the bearings failing. luckily i managed to get free ones under warranty and found the correct torque setting and the new ones are fine now.
So I would defo suggest having a look at the bearings first
