From an Artic blue 182 to a black gold 182...

  Clio Sport 182 Cup
Hi all..

I joined this forum in May last year when I purchased my first RS 182..

Absolutely loved this car and did a few bits to it, only painting parts orange etc..

And my favourite touch.. a repainted engine cover and zingy power!

but unfortunately on a blind bend and a dark slippery night, a 15-20 mph bump wrote it off..

And the damage on the car I hit! ..

So unfortunately it was a write off due to subframe damage, radiator damage etc.. but its back on the road as a mate bought it back off me and had the time and a dry garage) to fix it up again :D

I love the drive of these cars, the acceleration and the handling that much I got another! and ventured all the way to london as it was a good price..

A couple of personal touches.. I painted the renault badges on the alloys blue, along with adding my cookie monster.. and my private reg, and before anyone asks (I get it all the time) my last names Ruddick.. it says it backwards ;) and a full stainless Powerflow system to fill out the exhaust cut outs :approve:

Got a good deal on some pro race 1.2's which i couldn't say no too as the standard ones were in dire need of a refurb and new tires..

As the Renault badges on the 1.2's were already yellow, I had a change of plan and decided to go black with subtle touches of yellow

so a personal touch to the alloys was done to make them stand out a bit more..

And whilst they where drying, i'd purchased some coilovers about a week before but not got round to fitting them. Here is the results so far..

As you can see it was dark and dirty by the time the coilovers where fitted so the 2 rear alloys where left to be painted until the day after, and the car needed a good clean and wax and the bullets painted anthracite/yellow  Here is the results..

Usually don't like painting the logos blue etc, but that yellow does look good very race car.

In terms of finishing the exterior I'd recommend a Skoda Splitter, silver vision indicators and some clean plates.

For some reason though, that exhaust looks terrible!

  Listerine & Poledo
nice. I'm a fan of painted-in wheels (and tyres for that matter).

but (sorry) LOL at the damage to the Benz. Clio loses 1/4 of its front end and the Merc just needs a wash.
