Looks to be a clean example jim, how does it drive compared to a normal 16v? I bet the front tyres scream for forgiveness when the boost comes on

Also, please remove the wind deflectors, nothing screams chav more than a saxo/corsa etc with wind deflectors

I also like the front headlights, they're different. Get it sat at a better height and it will be nice

Love these.

Even in standard trim, the VTS/GTi's jp4 engine is tremendous - no slower than a 1*2 in my experience, too.

I'm hoping you got this cheap!

Edit: That probably comes across as a shitty comment. I just wasn't expecting it to need a lot of work done.

It's mostly labour and my mate msrk is sorting it but its still going to be a few quid! Should be nice when it's sorted though.

Aye should be fine when sorted, still good bit of labour mind.

What needs done with the axle? I needed to replace the bushes and bearings in mine, done that and 6 months later needed to replace the whole axle. Wasn't lowered properly to begin with!

Little bit of play so needs the bearings sorting.

Good buy mate, hope to see it tracked next year?
Even with the new wheels, de-stickered and some new lights it'd look sorted.

Went down to help out on the Saxo tonight. First of all the manifold, turbo etc were all stripped from the engine leaving just the inlet on. The car'd had some nasty oil leaks so we brake cleanered it to death but will probably paint the block before it goes back in the car.

Pre clean up;

Next was to take the sump off and reseal that. Sump will be getting painted before the engine goes back in.

All done and ready for tomorrow;
