Something ive wanted for ages but never found a solution was a front splitter to fit the Prodrive edition front bumper. I've a few ideas and the first one of those ideas arrived today.

Genuine WRC dry carbon composite tarmac lip. Think this could look pretty sexy riveted to the front end.

Following this up, I've carried on and done some more.

Complete AC system out.

With that in mind I got the trusty bathroom scales out.

Complete AC system was 13.2kg
Space saver & jack 20.1kg
Approx 15kg in misc parts (couldn't get them all on the scales)
11kg sound deadening.

So there a good 60kg before looking at bumper beams and the U brace is still on the car.
I'm yet to start on the doors too. It sounds daft but it's noticeably easier to push by hand.

I've also got a steel alternator bracket on the way so I'll dump the big chunk of ally too.

  A special one.
This car makes me wish I'd of bought the 02 plate JDM that was on here for sale.

Looking forward to seeing this again mate.

Looks great. Didn't realise you was stripping it all! It'll be fun that's for sure!

I've been sketching cage designs too and I think I'll be going with something along these lines... Ish.
Dunno yet, Lol :D

Well that's it, she's now living in Wales for a month having the cage done. Looking forward to building it back up once she's done. Cage is full custom T45 so should keep the weight down. I couldn't believe the difference when holding the tubes compared to CDS. Amazing! :)

I was going to say poor car, fcuk that its epic.

We used to use T45 for the cages in our Aston Martin V8 race car, its very light and very strong.
Being as its so strong means the tube can have a thinner wall. Cant wait to see it again mate.

So i take it its not being sold now?

Call me whatever, but I had a dream about this car last night!. For some reason my dad drove it and he rolled the car off a slight hill, no damage and you (who I've never met) was smoking and laughing. Odd isn't the word

Lol, that is strange. As I don't smoke and I certainly wouldn't be laughing. Lol.

With weddings and houses taking priority.. I can see why you ended up in Swansea !!

If you have to travel for the right job dude, travel I shall. ;)

Cage design looks awesome.
Cheers dude, just a sketch so I could show DMS roughly how I wanted it. My Doorbars will be slightly different with some nicer angles to make getting in and out a little easier. The a pillar straight down tube will be a slightly smaller diameter, again to make access a little nicer.
Harness bars will be staggered heights and there will be a few other little WRC style touches thrown in. I can't wait to see it come together. ;)

No, just that you last update was you dropping it off in Wales for the cage to be built. But I thought that picture was you still stripping it down.
