Forza Horizon 5

Look for laybys and tiny little bits of road that branch off main roads. Some are like 1 metre long
Doing that. Found what I thought was it twice, but it’s on the off road dashed sections which aren’t always perfect.

The hunt continues…

Anyone found something very good car wise?

Seen a few with an x5m! Interesting choice. I thought the 600lt could be epic. Made my BAC too powerful I think, bit tail happy!

Read this as “Look for Ladybys” and was very confused 😂
Look for grey tiny ladyboys (y)

Oh the dashed sections are horrible! I missed a bit on top of a hill where there are loads of dashed lines criss crossing each other

The X5M is free with premium. It's f**king epic! Does everything well. Sounds amazing too.
Really decent off road. First gear is gone instantly

I think my fastest S1 car is currently a Mercedes AMG SLS. AWD though so not for a purist in that sense but it's probably my best build/tune so far.

Just wants a nice balance. Manageable drift in the corners whilst winning races. Struggling to find the good balance. Most AWD handle shot!

SLS sounds interesting!

It will slide especially on the slower corners. I almost always tune diff with 80% rear bias and 80 acel and 10 decel on the rear keeps it a bit more lively. It's all in the setup.

Just got the all roads achievement but I'm still 3 off finding all the roads according to the game.

Yeah that happened to me too. I couldn't let that slide though. I had to get them all, which was then a total anti climax because I didn't get an achievement lol

ClaretSquirrel, whoever that is on here, gave up at 576, I'm up to 577 now, just one to find.

Think I got all the roads but also got the achievement a few roads before. I assumed it was because I had driven at least part of all of them.

Anyway my 5 year old came down the other night and said "Dad, do you love this game more than me"

So I said "Don't be silly, now be quiet I'm in a race, shut the door get into bed and put on that new bedtime stories audio bookI bought you and go to sleep"

It will be a tiny sliver, I had this on a previous FH game and it took me aaaaaages to find it, good luck!
My last road was a decent chunk of off road I'd just missed, a full link road section too. Got the bugger last night though.

My second to last was on a flyover so it was very hard to spot the tiny bit I hadn't been on as the crossing road was white.

Might be obvious but it helps to open the map, click filter and deselect everything so you just see the roads.

Traction Control on or off? I find it quite annoying off with a properly powerful car and I’m actually slower with it off, it’s not a sim so I just have it on usually.

Off 100%. Sometimes if you're chasing top LB times you'd need it on depending on car and track but for casual playing definitely better off.

I'm a long way from being decent, but I'm finding the absolute opposite. With traction and stability off, I think even the high powered cars are still if anything a bit too grippy.

Are you using a wheel or a pad? (I'm on a wheel)

It could be that I've just come from F1 2020 which is pretty tough with the assists off, but I'm sure FH4 was a lot tougher than FH5 without the assists.

I have a wheel but I’m using a pad, in all honesty I didn’t think to even think to use a wheel with this as it’s very arcade but I love it for that.

577/578 roads

There’s no grey on the map ffs!

FFS... spent hours aimlessly driving around to try and find the last bit of road... I'm just one short at 577 too. Could I find it? Could I f**k. Racked up loads of skill points though by literally drifting every single stretch of every single road! :ROFLMAO:

That's me. I cannot find the last two roads. I have stood really close to my 80" TV with my 4K picture and cannot see the last two bits of pesky grey road.

I'm in the same boat too, just have two left to find. Supposedly the large motorway junction roads can be a tad buggy, leaving tiny slithers of road left to uncover that are impossible to see on the map.

What is everyone using as their daily?

I absolutely love my GT3 RS, I use it for everything unless I need to do something it can't do.

Feel like I've used the Lotus Elise, Evo 8, R32 Skyline and SLS AMG equally so far so don't really have 1 main car yet.

I'm struggling to "get into this" tbh. Its the first Horizon that I've been this way with. The only thing I find myself doing is the seasonal events. I do just enough to get enough points for the 2 reward cars and that it. Everything else just seems a bit meh!

Also doesn't run that great on PC.
