flexi pipe cracked on the cat

as title says the flexi pipe on my 2000 plate clio is cracked and its sounding like a tank, just wondering if there is a way to patch/temp fix it until after xmas.

bought the car last week and its cost me a fortune up until now, got it from a woman I know but wish I hadnt lol, cylinder head might be dodgey too as its got an oil leak that is either coming from there or as I'm hoping the rocker cover gasket

Try your local motor factors for a new part, they wont be mega money.
If you leave it I expect it wont last that long and you will end up with a very loud exhaust.

Probably find you will require flexi section which dips down and has the CAT on it, expensive! Mines the same had a few clios all end up like it. Maybe time to hit it with the welding 'skills'.
