Fancyplates delivery charge

I've orderd numerous plates off these, but I don't remember the delivery charge being £7.05! How long has that been the case? It's coming to £21 just for a front number plate FFS.

Its been like it a while now sadly, i use DMB graphics now, i ordered a pair friday off them,

Cut down front and a full size back for £24 delivered

People are quick to moan about delivery charges until things go tits up.

Until recently I used to send things off cheaply on eBay. After seeing how Yodel and Hermes delivered items to me, some of them now being made of Unobtanium I now use UPS, RM or maybe TNT at a push. Delivery is not free and neither is the packaging.

DMB however are superb, and I would deal with them anytime.

£7 for one number plate is a bit steep though. They only use Royal Mail usually and they fit through a letterbox. £3.20 tops.

Shows how long ago I must have ordered then! I'm sure my old one was about £7 delivered. This one is £21 - looks like I'll have to pay it though as mine flew off and got run over 😧

Unless anyone knows of an alternative where you can actually enter a custom size rather than choose from a few 'pre set' sizes.

The thing with the eBay ones is that they're preset sizes though, you can't specify a custom one. Like 520x90mm.

If you desperate then any motor factors will do them for you (standard size) while you wait. Around £20 for a pair.

A lot of folk aren't really understanding. This is for custom plates not just standard ones..

I too think the delivery charge is a bit ludicrous.

I can send a full size pair of metal number plates for under £3.00 first class signed for via royal snail.

If fancy plates are using a good courier then i can understand the price being litter higher.
