hiya mate,



just wondering wot ur opinion is on the Diamond audio motorsport M6 subwoofer which Im thinkin of gettin from CAD at 280 a piece...(thinkin of 2) Im after the twin 2 ohm dual voice coil ones so I can show a amp a 2 ohm load with 2 subs...

Im also thinkin of runnin the subs with a phase linear opus 1 so each sub would get 600wrms each and they are rated at 800wrms each...would this sound sweet?

Hi

It would sound quite nice but for that kind of money you would be better going for a couple of Resonnant Engineering HC12s. They are also dual 2ohm and are quoted at 1200watts RMS (although they will take 3000 all day). They are only £255 each and will outperform the Diamond M6 in every area even with 600watts going to them...in fact they are one of (if not) the best built subs in the world at the moment.
