exhaust problems

why is it things always go wrong when you have no money? recently had my car lowered 60mm
and so far have had no problems with speed bumps, kerbs etc however on arriving home tonight
i notice my exhaust is hanging a little lower than normal. after having a quick look underneath
i notice that there is a clip of some kind about half way down the exhaust just before the backbox.
because of the way it is facing (screws pointing down) it is the lowest point of my car. it looks
like it must have been clipping speedbumps and appears to have been taking chunks out of the pipe.
this is prob a silly question but is this pipe easy to replace/mend and if so how much money is this likely to cost.

have just found out the part that has been hitting the speed bumps is called the u clamp.
i need a replacment middle section. anyone know hom much this will cost? cheers again

not worth getting it from renault you will likely be cheaper to get a custom stainless steel replacement or even a full aftermarket exhaust system made up.

forgot to mention i have an aftermarket cat back exhaust system.
the back box isn't affected in anyway. the mid section just looks fairly damaged.can sections of pipe be replaced?

if you take it to a custom exhaust place they should be able to make you up a new centre section and still use your current backbox.
