engine swap

right need help here. what is the biggest or just my engine options for my clio. have a 1.4 rt..needs a engine swap even if only a 1.4 valver wot are my options and how big could i go engine wise, complications, place to do the swap??? would ideally want a williams for it or bigger if possible. cheers..

1.8 8v rsi, 1.8 16v, 2.0 16v williams, R5 Turbo, 1.8 volvo turbo...

first 3 of those will drop straight in, i think the R5 does too but you need one of the mounts off the clio 1.1 'night&day' model, and the volvo turbo lump you'll need custom water hoses and possibly mounts but i'm sure someone will confirm this.

hmmm cheers guys for the info..big ian ..if he could do it and i sourced an engine..how much.. guess i need ne box too.if i could i would be tryin to get one with a boix alread..anything else needed with this..would original brakes be ok or up rate them?? been lookin into the k-tech conversion anyway just want a ball park idea and figure..

Stock brakes depend how your going to drive would be fine but why not upgrae you'll need the suepension so migh as well use hubs and shafts and box realy.

would be appreciated.. where is he based tho?? i was wondering myself about the 182 engine deano.. i have the suspension here anyway..just want an idea of every thing i need get it all together them. BLLAM New engine..just want a bit more power..well its just really runnin to and from work but want the power there for if i want ot use it..

i wouldnt pay £1500 labour for a 172 engine, its not that hard lol a weekends work

I had that thought do it myself a done ma corsa with a red top then turbo lump and it was a weekends work..but didnt know weather to give this a bash or not..that one was to c if i could do it or not..

if u done the turbo lump Im pretty sure u can do a valver conversion, turbo corsa round here?? I thought there only was one a few yrs ago and my mate had it. seen a few now though
