it does this every now and then and annoys me

the doors are closed but light stays on

and it annoys me as is a pic of a 5 door car lol

lol good reason to annoy you i suppose, i would say the sensor on one of the doors is kerplunked or loose, hav a fiddle see if you can work out which one is causing it. open the door, they are the little rubber springy booty things beside the lock.

Open of the rabbet switches is fecked at a guess. Does the alarm beep all the time when you lock the car?

works again now like i said just every now and then ..... courtesy light turns off and doors lock

I had this problem with my mk2 ph1, it turned out to be a dodgey boot lock connection and once replaced was fine. It also messed about with my alarm settings but again this was fixed when the boot catch was replaced.
