Disabling the Rear Wiper

Hi guys,

I've always wondered about this and never bothered to find out.

It's just that when I've reversed my car out of my drive in the morning during the icy weather the wiper has gone off and this is damaging the wiper blades.

How can I turn this off?

turn your front wipers off (highest position) they would have been set to auto this morning (first click)
Smart rear wiper only works if the fronts are set to auto.

I do like the auto wipers on the front though.

You could let the car warm up for a couple of minutes while the rear demister melts the ice. Its doesnt take very long.
