when installing quicktime, you need to go into custom setup, then select everything, i think the main one u definately need ticked is "Quicktime for Java"

Installing wise, i just install cd1 first, then cd2.

i found that mine didnt work with XP service pack 2.

just loaded up a minimised window with a white screen.

i get that white screen too.

ive tried the quicktime custom install now, and ticked all, but still not working.

i remember the instructions have a special way of installing it?

go into the dialogies program folder and run the ms dos batch file... DONT USE THE DESKTOP SHORTCUT

(thanks to NikC172 for discovering this)

yep got it now.

just been reading on how to change my cambelt on the V6 :D

RM stands for repair manuals. you first need to enter you car model.

when installing quicktime... choose custom install and choose select all.

then when installed the whole thing... DONT USE THE DESKTOP SHORTCUT.

go into the Dialogies folder in Program Files and use he batch file in there.

I had everything working on one system, and all but the PR function on another system, even though they were installed in exactly the same way.

Ive just downloaded the latest version of Quicktime (6.5.2) and again making sure to tick the Quicktime for Java option, and now PR works.
