Right guys I need some light to be shed on a problem.
I have a cup spec 182 (with cup alternator etc) and for the last two weeks the batter light has been flickering on and off intermittently thus leading me to think its a loose wire as apposed to a dead battery. I've just checked the battery with multi meter and it's kicking out a steady 12.5v so it's not the battery. I then tested the alternator and it's producing 13.5-14v but it keeps flickering down to 4-5v and then back up again. Is this the end for my alternator ? Or a dodger connection somewhere?
