Dash cam installation

Hi all

Looking to install dash cam into mk3 clio,hardwire installation.

Where is internal fusebox located and which fuse would be best to piggyback?

Fusebox on the MK3 is to the left of the steering wheel on the lower part of the dash. No idea what fuse to piggyback off tbh.

i was lucky to have a spare usb plug on my headunit, so i used that, saves messing about with fuse boxes

Cheers guys. I'll open up the fuse box tomorrow and have a look. Probably be a bit of trial and error involved til I fins fuse I want to use

why not run a separate fused line from the battery?

I've got mine running off the cig lighter , got an adapter under the plastic so can't see it
