CV join, can someone check this part no?

Afternoon, rang Renault up about an inner seal for the drive shaft and the part they are ordering me has this 7701470567, I trust they are right but would rather not make the trip if I know it's going to be wrong.

that is coming up as a Driveshaft gaiter. Basically a CV boot.

When you say inner seal, what do you mean? there's very little available for driveshafts, most of the time you need a new shaft

The piece of rubber seems to have split at the top and is leaking gearbox oil at times. I can see the split quite clear so I am assuming its just that that needs replacing rather than the expense of a whole new shaft?

right...so "the piece of rubber"

you mean the inner CV boot on the near side? 3 bolt attaching it to the gearbox. That is the part number you've posted above

Haha please excuse my technical terms ,

Thats the bit that's gone so it seems they've ordered the right part. Now off to find some gearbox oil.
