CSS - East Midlands Convoy Thread

[Harpham]

With just over a month to go until the day, I thought it'd be time to get the convoy plans set up and a list of people going.
I'm still not 100% whether ill be going, but hopefully I will be there.

Ok, so the location, Duxford Air Museum, is just over 2 hours of travelling away (125 miles away from my house).

So onto the plan of action. I will meet whoever wants to join the convoy at J27 of the M1 at around 7:45am, with a view to be leaving at 8am sharp. I then imagine that we, as usual, will travel down to Leicester Forest East Services, where we will meet with Yorkshire, Lincoln and other local CSers that are wanting to join the convoy (I imagine around the 8:30am time).

I'm at junction 20 on m1.. Why couldn't there be a meeting point slightly more south?? Hahha should be going though.. First CSS for me as only got a Clio end of last year!

Yeah but you'd be on the south bound side so I'd have to drive from just off junction 20, up to 22 to come back down to just before 21 for the services haha

Come off at 21A, then down the A46 until the first junction, round that all the way, back onto the A46 northbound which will put you on the M1 just before LFE services.

Just over 3 weeks to go guys. Get your name on the list. Yorkshire convoy will be joining up with us at LFE. We'll then be making a quick stop at Brampton services to pick up a couple of others.
