Converting to cable throttle

  MG ZR x2, Polo, CTR
I've got the dreaded p0120 fault on my clio.
3 throttle bodies, 3 pedals and a coilpack later the problem remains.

I'm going to start chasing wires for wet/damp as it all started after my friend hosed the car down for me, so i'm thinking its the loom under the scuttle panel.

In the event this doesn't solve it, whats actually involved in converting to a cable throttle system from the electric setup thats currently in use?

Get the loom sorted. Sounds like you've already blown a bit of cash guessing the fault, a specialist will be able to sort it for a couple of hours labour.

Luckily all the parts i had laying about spare / borrowed from a known working car, so its not yet cost a penny

Did you get anywhere with this?

Do you need to change the car loom or just the engine loom and ecu?

Yea, fixed the original issue.
The ecu loom had been cut through by the ecu casing, repaired and solved
