CLIO MK2 Ph1 172 Idle problem

Hi, i'm new here. I've got a 01' Mk1 172 with wire throttle body. Recently i found there is a problem while idling.
The idle will normal while cool start, it will stall at 750 ~800RPM. After runing in city, while step down the clutch. The idle will rise to 1500 ~2000 :dead:

I had clean the throttle body and lub the wire. But the problem still happen. Do anyone know what had happen on my clio?? THX

Search for idle control valve.

ive had similar problems , only occurs when really hot mine does.

Its the throttle flap spindle, when the fault occurs again pull over and just turn the throttle to the rest position and it will idle normal again confirming the idle valve is ok.

If the throttle is 100% on its rest stop and idling high then its more likely to be the idle valve.
