Clio Mk2/ clio mk3 suspension query!!

Alrite guys quick question. Will lowering springs for a mk2 fit on to a mk3? Only reason I ask I did see a project thread on here where a guy swapped his mk2 springs with a mk3 plus the shocks look identical! I don't want to spend 100 pounds on springs to find they don't fit!! Any help would be awesome as I can't afford £500 on coilovers buy 60mm would be a good drop

60mm on standard shocks is not advised I don't think, 45mm is the limit iirc, although some people have managed fine on 60mm on here.

Ok but will the springs from the mk3 fit a mk3
