Clio DCI 65 fault

My 2002 clio DCI 65 has developed a fault, it's lost a lot of performance, cuts out while driving and has become difficult to start. Had the car on a diagnostics check, came back with two DF137 faults.
1. DF137 Rail pressure regulation function, pressure above maximum
2. DF137 rail pressure function, low flow current above maximum.

I have a feeling the fuel pressure regulator is broken, any one had similar experience or suggestions on what the problem could be?

Cheers.
