I am mate Im just going to be getting resto bits just to finish it off! It needs a new rear bumper as it has a crack at the top and needs a drivers door card as the armrest part has worn! When i get it out of the garage ill take more pics. The engine is the cross flow engine but it is silent there is no tapping atal! amazing really as its 22 years old!

Update..

finally managed to get the drivers door fully smoothed to match the passenger

Its going to pretty much remain the same as it is now for fcs so there won't be many updates untill after fcs! But there will be massive updates after fcs

yer it will be the last time its seen out until atleast next year. I have some big plans now and its going to cost alot of money but will be worth it.

I have but i can see me changing my mind. Its not going to be sprayed untill middle of next year as i have a hell of alot of work to do before, which is going to be very costly. Even after the respray and body work im looking at £3,000 plus to get it on the road with the other mods excluding interior. So its going to be a good year for progress but not finance wise lol!

Wish i could mate. When i was younger i took a loan out then i had an accident and also lost my job. needless to say it got alittle messy

So im having to do it the hard way and save every penny each month. It is going to take longer but atleast i wont be in debt. This way i can choose each month wether or not to spend money on it as appose to paying monthly repayments.

Carnt wait thou till after fcs!

cheers mate, it will be good to see yours. i love the banded steelies. bbs rs's are on the cards but not until i have my rear arches done. I will know what i want to do with the car on saturday.

ive had the car in the bodyshop today to flat all the primer and de-dent the whole car. It is ready for saturday/sunday to have something done to it but you won't know until fsc

looking great and the colour looks the dogs.

I had tvr style buttons and solenoids fitted to my old clio - you might want to see if you can get some water proofing in there - mine eventually failed due to rust and then i seemed to constantly have to replace them with plasticy ones from maplin.

ive not read the whole thread - but do you have a wire coming from the battery? just in case your battery is flat - otherwise you wont get in. i never got round to this either lol but did need to use something similar by removing the button and attaching a battery.

cant wait to see it painted - i do like seeing cars in primer though something about them!

Personally i dont think the ronals suit it, especially when its all done and finished. I'd look into getting something wider that will compliment it better

Thanks my switch is water proof externally but internally not but the mirror keeps all the crap out anyway. I did have the tvr switch but that failed due to not carring enough amps. It just blew it so i had to get a 20a rated one. I also had to uprate my battery to a larger 670cca battery to help store the power for the solenoid. I know what you mean about cars in primer there mysterious

Once ive got the wide track mate ill see if it helps space the gap. If it dosen't 8j+ wheels will be on the cards.
