Cheapest aftermarket ECU, loom and mapping option?

  Audi A5
Evening gents,

Trying to figure out the cheapest way to go about ITB's manegment.

First thought is to use a Gen90 as that will mean I can use the standard clio loom, new their just over 1k and 2nd hand they come up for about £750 so then just mapping on top.

Now obviously the Gen90 is a nice bit of kit but has quite a price tag.

What about going for an Omex? Could a standard clio loom be modified to work with an Omex?

What other options do I have?

Cheers Bobby

I have the gen90 for my install. Weighed up the options and I didn't fancy the dash lights and for ease on install and resale value

I use an Adaptronic ecu - which including fitting AND mapping was still less than the initial purchase price of a Gen90.
@Andyrg supplies and fits these.

Andy's work does seem top notch it's just unfortunate he's so far away :(

I do a canbus compliant ecu for £750 with loom :)

What about mapping Dan? And would their be any lights on the dash with this kit?

Yeah it is a good bit of kit. Who will you be using to map it?
