Changing battery in key.

I need a new battery in my key. Does anyone know if it will need re-programming after i've changed the battery?

should be ok iirc. If your battery is completely dead, then you won't lose anything by trying it.

The battery is only a couple of quid to replace

I changed one on a scenic I had and it lost the code.

Luckily I used to work for Renault so one of the guys did it free.

Its only £40 iirc.

I changed my battery and didnt have any problems. Was old out new in though, All in 10 seconds to make sure.

I wouldnt say for sure mate, I just did it fairly quick. So i cant guarentee anything.

I left mine a couple of minutes once and it was fine
