after having the tyres replaced and a rear bearing done for the MOT, my wipers then decided to jack on me.

bad news in this weather, so took it in to have it checked out, they took it all apart, and checked everything.

and now it comes down to the "USH" which is like the motherboard, for all the electronics on the car. is faulty!

£325 to replace!!!!

gutted much?

Surely it's just cheaper to buy a new wiper motor?

the wiper motor is fine!
they've had it off, and checked it independently.
the problem is the signal from the uch to the wipers

My back wiper just goes whenever it wants. When I want it to go, it doesn't. Wonder if i've got a faulty motherboard!

UCH is the term, controls all the non-essential electrical items in the car.

Pricey to replace as you have found out!

this happened to me, on the way to the MOT test!
so i had to have it done by renault, before they'd pass the car
