  clio 1.8 16v
a few weeks ago i put 2 rear calipers on my valver and had to bleed them up i got the pedal the best i could a few days later the abs light kept flicking on and off and now its on all the time then i had to take it for a mot a week later and the mot tester said it feels like its still had air in it could the abs light be on because of it having air in the system and do u have to bleed the system with the car running to get the air out of the abs system

Sounds more lik you have damaged or hit and ABS sensor on a wheel which is causing the light to come on.

No, not generally, if you use a proper bleed kit and you refresh the fluid. But for a quick bleed, have the engine running, pump the brake peddle three times (hard) hold pressure, then have some one with a 12mm undo the relevant bleed screw. Pedal in the cabin will drop to the floor, don't let him raise till you have done it back up. On the pump, air 'should' be forced forward.

Do it 5 times or so.
