Right...... Read a few threads and spoke to a few people, still very confused so here we go. Long story short, engines dead need to either rebuild or buy new used lump.
Want to eek out a little more performance so advice on best routes without charging it (do not want turbo). I do have a small obsession with the RS2 purely for looks,sad I know but I think it looks bob on. Help me please folks.

I know I know, should do really but we have 3 and soon to 4 clios so think for the sake of our group I need to just stick with the money pit that is my car. No harm in a little speaky advantage here or there though.

197 cams? Someone said I'd need a standalone ecu, is that right or could I still use original?
