When should the cambelt be changed on a Mk2 Ph1 1.2? Also is there any way you can tell it needs doing like the noise it makes or something? Many thanks.

its 72k or 5years.

there are no signs that it needs doing, it will just snap and bugger your engine.

Well its a 98 and done 57k. Going in for a service soon though so i assume it can be done then?

It can be if you want it to be done.

Personaly any more than 4 years and 60k I'd get it chnaged.
