Caliper problem????

Just a quick question, this happened to my Valver last week, something has come off the rear brake caliper. Is it a weight balance? If so, will it affect the car as i have one on the other side?

Is it ok to drive? Just need some help/advise please.

The pad nearest you gets pulled on the disc by the caliper.

I didn't have taht part on my old rt brakes, so not certain but to me it looks like some sort of anti rattle weight thing.

Don't think it'd be crucial to braking.

Get a second opinion though.
