Britemax review

  Not a poxy Renault
After chatting to matt from i4detailing.co.uk, he offered to send me a couple of samples of the following products:
Britemax #5 Extreme Elements sealant and
Britemax #6P Max Shine carnauba liquid polymer wax:

The first thing is the speed of delivery, I gave matt my address Thursday night and the parcel turned up, recorded delivery, on Saturday morning. Nothing p!sses me off more than slow delivery so thumbs up already!

Used them both on my Gf's Smart Roadster this weekend, I gave the car a very minor swirl correction via PC, but I know the finish could be improved alot more - the paint is as hard as nails and really needs a serious amount of work, there are also quite a few stonchips in the front end - Women!!
The #5 gave a deep shine to the newly polished surface and was very easy on and even easier off. I think a couple of coats of this would be excellent (6 hours betwen coats) and wouldn't need topping with any wax.
The #6P was also easy on and off in general, although I did have an issue with one panel (first thing this morning so i think it was a bit cold) Wax went a bit gooey, but it came off ok. I only tested this on top of the #5, not on its own.
I've not used a 'cream' product before, and it did seem a bit strange, a bit like using jif on the cooker!. No scratches incurred though so all was well!
This car spends its whole life outside and only gets washed every 2-3 weeks so should be a good durability test:

They're IQ5's, excellent speakers, just the empty boxes in my garage though!! not a huge amount of bass but excellent clarity. Neighbours aren't too happy!
