Brakes upgrade in the new 182

  Less
My new 182 drives ever so similar to my old one, but i have noticed a difference between the stock brakes (which the new one has) and the aftermarket brakes the old one had.

Had a quick look through the renault specialist companies and come to the conclusion that I will buy;

http://www.yozzasport.co.uk/store/proddetail.php?prod=brembo_front_disc_renaultsport_172_182 discs

and complement them with some green stuff pads.

If i buy these packages off yozza,k-tec etc is there anything else i will need. I remember reading about the springs for ABS or something.
I dont think i will fit them myself but prob take them to Dave Clarke (lincoln)

cheers for reading...

if your changing rear discs you need some with built in bearings and abs clips but the fronts are fine as they come.

i bought greenstuff from gsf b4 and they sold me the wrong ones. check at the counter before you walk out!

u don't need new discs

just buy some agressive pad like DS2500, Pagid Blue or CarboneLoraine RC5or6

and bleed your brakes

New pads and discs needed. So took a trip to GSFcarparts who happen to have a store in Lincoln. Parts ordered for Tues and fitting on Sat!

i have a set of brembo max disc and ds2500 pads on my 182 and they are fanastic, got them fitted by gdi when they serviced the car at 24k.

I would get ds2500 over the greenstuff I had them on the red 172 and they were fantastic. was with brembo max and stainless lines too though.

you will be well happy with, you won't able to stop braking because it will be a hundred times better than standard, only down side with mine is that they squeal from time to time because of the pads being so agressive.
