brake light fault on clios

is this a common problem ive never had it before but not really owned the car long enough really anyway is it most the time the pedal switch ? please help i gota drive to my moms for crimbo and it keeps going into limp mode

so the Brake light is coming on? and possible the Stop light.

top brake fluid or change pads.

no its the switch by the pedal so its bringing on the electrical fault light and the diesel heater light

could be the tps sensor (throttle postion sensor)

The brake pedal shouldn't bring the electric fault warning light on afaik, it isn't connected to anything that'd put it into limp mode for sure. You had the fault codes read?
