I would imagine its classed as a colour change, so quite a bit..

Do you have to inform anyone of a colour change as when you do HPI checks they give you a colour the car should be as well??

I was getting mine spray in the solid BMW black as it is NICE but ive changed to a custom black. Il paying about 2g for the my kit to be fitted, lots and lots of smoothing and the re-spray.

about a grand matey at least it doesnt matter that much that your car is allready black.
