Best way to add ports to router?

Noob with this really

Basically my home hub is downstairs plugged into sky, av receiver, and smart tv. Then I've got a power line adapter to upstairs that's plugged into my ps3. So thats the hub full hard wired wise. I want to network my dvr which is also upstairs next to the ps3. What's the best way to do this..?

You can buy power line adapters which have two or more network ports on, or you can buy a switch - something like these: http://www.ebuyer.com/search?sort=price+ascending&cat=109&store=8&cat=109&page=1

You won't need an expensive switch as it's just for home use

Amazon sell tp links for about £10. Plastic but ive had mine 3 years!
