Best Way constant live

i have a ps2 in the car soon to be changed with a modded xbox , wots the best way to create a constant live to the inverter, is there a way to take the cigarrette lighter plug of and feed it through to the battery and if i do this would i need a fuse in-line somehere ??

In line fuse and a direct connection to the battery would work fine, just make sure you get the fuse rating right.

Just remember to turn it off when you park/leave the car.

how will i know what fuse rating to use ???

The instructions that came with the inverter or it should have a rating on the unit itself.
