Bring it to me and I'll work the magic - you're not far
I have recently tried some poorboys nattys blue and also have some onyx on the way.
@ Russ
Does the dodo porducts state what precentage of carnuaba they have in them?? I couldnt find it out anywhere??
Oh and stone chips are easily sorted - touch up kit from Paint4U, wet sanded back then remove the sanding marks with a machine polisher. The biggest pain is building up the paint.
It would take forever. literally.. there must be atleast one hundred. all over the bonnet/bumper.... why.. fancy the job?
Ive got that nice job to do on mine when the weather gets good again...couldnt be arsed this year but im going to do it next year...will take a while me thinks!
My bumper is horrible!
It never shows up on photo's though
Not for that many... lol.
Respray for £150 is the way forward I'd imagine.
No, Dom doesn't believe in it as it can be measured in so many ways, and is over hyped/over marketed.
Supernatural lasts well... Purple Haze Pro is decent too (but that's a hybrid wax with sealant properties) but I'd still opt for something like Colli for Winter.
I'd be aiming for best looks in March - just protect it over Winter. R222 is awesome too, but again, poor durability.
I had a quote of £600 for bonnet/bumper and blending in! i just lol'ed and walked off. never got another quote.
I think i'll just get some Lime Prime and Rain Forest Rub.. even if it aint too long lasting, atleast i can have a little play without spending big money..

I thought as much..I have spent many an evening floating around on DW and looking at different products ..onyx is supposedly 30% or something and zymol carbon "Contains 37% No.1 Yellow Brazilian Carnauba Wax".
I still need to understand what the carnuaba in the wax does. I thought it made it look wetter/shinier but it seems thats not the case.
For over the winter though it wouldnt be worth it IMO. You'd be better off getting a small pot of 476
http://www.waxamomo.co.uk/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=23&idcategory=23
Then when the weather picks up try out the rainforest rub. The blue velvet is locked in the fridge now and wont be coming out till MArch/April at least!
476 is first in the list..it smells f**king rank though!!!! (476 that is..Blue Velvet I want to eat!)
edit...
or do what russ said and get a sample pot first to see what its like. Id offer to send you some Blue Velvet..if I could find a suitable small container to put some in! Anyone got any ideas??!!
Get some Lime Prime, and get a RFR sample. If you don't mind waxing each month, then you will be fine.
i normally do a side a week.. just so i dont have to do the whole car lol. does that make sense?
Collinite is awesome for lazy peoples. Lasts forever!
