Best exhaust to get on Clio 182

What are milltek and scorpion like any good

If you want a quiet exhaust the scorpion 192 or whatever it's the best option, but factor in a middle bracket and make some solid exhaust mounts for the rear or it'll sag..
If seen some people moan about scorpions and other exhausts, but I think a lot is down to the clios saggy middle and poor exhaust rubbers putting stress on the systems..
The milltek and scorpion with a single box were just waaaaaaaaayyyyyyy to noisy for me.. Instant headaches.

Milltek 182 makes a lovely low burble on idle, had mine on fotr 4 years now.
I find most exhausts sound too raspy...all a matter of taste.
Search youtube for vids on the different exhaust..(I found orbisoud the best sounding.....too expensive though)

I've always gone custom on my exhausts, off the shelf items sometimes need fettling and tweaking, not all but some.. Custom exhausts from a decent fabricator is what I've always preffered, shame you're not near Charlie at Prospeed in Cardiff, my 182 had one of his exhausts on fitted by the previous owner and I've owned the car 4 years with not one single issue, it's been faultless. Ive sent 4 other lads his way and every car is faultless and perfection! Charlie and his boys are awesome!

You won't be diappointed @pj_sibley , Charlie is the man!! He has 3 ish inch slashed tips in stock that look awesome in the 182 bumper, I went to him for bigger tips about 8 months ago and he and his lad absolutely nailed it, they are both dead centre in the bumper, from every angle they're perfect!!:up:

Mines still got the cat and the sound is perfect, I didn't have the system fitted as the previous owner did it but I had bigger tips put on. The sound is sporty ans throaty outside and a nice volume inside, sounds great when revved but subtle when cruising with no drone, needless to say I love it! :smile:

Ive got a Miltek on one 182 and a scorpion RS192 on my other 182. They are both pretty good but yesterday I spent the day in a trophy with a PMS exhaust. The PMS exhaust is by far the better exhaust. It sits really well, is fairly light and the sound it makes is really good. For town driving it is nice and quiet and wont attract a lot of attention, it also doesnt drone in the cabin on the motorway. When you open the car up the sound increases and you get a fantastic roar.
This car did have the PMS sports cat too though so dont know if this added to the effect.
Im going to be ditching the scorpion exhaust and moving my miltek exhaust to that car and buying a PMS one to replace the miltek.

I've got a pipewerx which aparantly was over £500. Sounds good and not too loud. Could do with it sounding more chav but fine for now
Pipewerkz aren't they plumbing specialist s,do a vid of the sound,the pms on mine,best sound hands down.

I have a scorpion, it isn't very loud I'm fine with it.
Should I go have a look underneath for anything ?
Prevention is better than cure or something like that.

If it's supported well, I'll eat my hat.. There was a lad on here that mentioned it to me and posted a link for a kit.. I totally need one but when I rang they were shut and I haven't bothered since.. 8 months lol

Its the middle section, the welds break and the exhaust will blow. Scorpion have a flexi center section they replace it with. Keep you receipt handy and they might do it for free.

Was former owner that had it fitted so no recipet I'll have a look check if its been done and that its supported correctly
i've got a full piper system i'm selling, with decat and 200 cell cat.

You are screwed then, even if you had the receipt it needs to be in your name as I found out. Scorpion will do a deal out of good will though. Cant remember how much though.
