Spent new years morning ripping the back bumper off and bonding on the carbon exhaust trims and swapping out the plastic strip for its carbon replacement, gave the tips a machine Polish before it went back together thismorning aswell

Playing around with the sand blaster at work with a scabby calliper I had laying around, much pleased with the results after about 30 seconds of work so the plan is to get a set of rears from jmrs for 35 quid and the rebuild kit from biggred for 45 and new pads+discs for a fresh rear setup

Callipers ordered from jmrs, rebuild kit on its way from biggred and fresh oem discs nd pads on their way from kam racing

All the bits for a fresh rear brake setup are in the post!

Loads of stuff happening, the csf prep is well under way, callupers rebuilt with the bigredd kit and also sandblasted beforehand, first coat of gold on them today, 172 black seatbelts fitted, looks braw, carbon door handles fitted and a good clean. Ds 1.11 pads came(rear dosxs and pads came a while ago), as did the shims from pms to sort out the janky rear beam, alignment booked for next friday, soon so brake overhaul v soon, a service and itl be ready to go. Csf2019 will be excellent this year, only complaint i had was the 1144s cooking too fast, these should sort that, and half the price of 1155s aswell

Not updated thisin a while so first one will be all the brakes finished up, came out really well, kit from bigredd was perfect and they look fresh as f**k after some paint

At the weekend there stopped into fgs to get all the new stoppy bits applied, ferrodo ds1.11 pads on the front, chopped to fit the wilwoods [emoji1787], oem discs and pads woth the freshly refurbed callipers on the rear and a fresh costing of acf150 on the coilers and it all looks fresh as f**k! All the prep work for csf2019 now done, just need to get a service and some track alloys sorted and we're dolly

The new track qheela are here for csf2019, 15" et37 7j oz ultraleggeras in chrystal titanium (bright silver) not the best lighting but will get more photos later, had to wait about a month on them as they had to be made but f**k me theyre beaut. Ado8r's will go on shortly. After a minor service the clio is ready for csf! I actualy really wanted gold but they only do 18"+ in gold, the backs of the wheels are also black which i didnt expect,id probably have rathered them silver because i like to clean the backs but meh, once the paints ruined from track theyll be going gold

tyres to be fitted tomorrow so some saucy wheel pics incoming, also ordered up a pms shifter and got booked into fgs for my pre track service and check over (and fitting the shifter) on the 21st, an early birthday present from the mrs just in time for csf, they say theyre on back order however on the phone i was ensured if i ordered it today id have it by the end of the week.

Track tyres fitted , ao48s, and new wheelies test fitted, theyre so fuckin braw. Back off to get bathed in c5 and left in the house until csf, more photo whoring later today when a can be arsed coating them

The final clio treat is in before csf in the form of pms's latest model of shifter, so braw

Also got the wheels coated in c5 and curing inside, ready and waiting for csf, shifter goes in on the 21st along with its final check and service

Av seen many and had my eye one one for ages, the carbon was the selling point after they brought that out [emoji1787] ive been keeping an eye on tessas shifter but at 500 euro+shipping and being untested, its a bit expensive compared to the tested one everyone loves

It feels amazing man i didnt realise the forward throw was reduced so much, its got to be at least halved, the hight is excellent aswell and feels really good for quick changes when giving it the beanage, ive had the dampener fitted so i dont get any of the vibration until right in the high rev ranges, glad i opted for it [emoji52] overall i absolutely love!

The vibrations will settle down after some use mate, mine was terrible initially even with dampener but rode it out and hardly any now. They are mega when pressing on, one of the best mods i have done to mine. Id have one in my daily dci if they were cheaper

Fixed the cruise cntrol today in prep for caf and began polishing, fone the first cut so far but cant be arsed any more today so will get it finished up tomorrow, waxed and ceramic coat my trims

Also been ordering losds of bits for csf
Got a half decent nopro for track, some new spray bottles from auto finesse, a new jack and loads of wee bits. Gettin buzzin now!

Looks spot on mate?. My csf prep is the total opposite of yours and if I don't drag my arse out of bed early tomorrow it'll not get a bucket over it either! I've found my tent and booze though so I think I'm sorted ?.
