.avi files help needed

I have a file 850mb in .avi format and i also have Nero 6 Ultra

I want to burn it onto a disc but its too big for a vcd and wont burn as a DVD I dont have the plug in for SVCD and dont know if that will work (plus dont wanna spend money if poss)

Anyone help me!!!!!!

get a progy called avi2dvd or avi2svcd / avi2vcd, that will do the job , but if neros saying it wont fit, u will prolly have to reduce the quality

I think you can get a time restricted version of DivX create. www.divx.com depends on what you want to put it on to in the end though?

you could split the file with some avi splitter software and put it on 2 x vcd's. That would be the easy option.
